Gateway has a long-standing tradition of participating in local community service projects & events. Suggestions for new events are encouraged and welcome.

All parents (or guardians) of children enrolled at Gateway are considered to be members of the Parent Guild. The Parent Guild promotes interests of Gateway through parent participation in volunteer programs and fundraising, which enrich the quality of education for students.
Families' volunteer time and energy are needed for the success of our school. Working as a community benefits all of our children, and the staff of Gateway relies on the invaluable help of our families to give our children the best possible experiences in their early education.
Leadership and volunteer opportunities in the Parent Guild are always available, and interested parents are encouraged to contact the school office to inquire about specific upcoming events and volunteering needs. Parents and families are also welcome to support the school by volunteering to help make or provide class materials, and organize and participate in school or classroom special events.
Parent Guild Volunteers: Sign-ups and RSVPs for school and community events will be posted throughout the school year. Volunteer opportunities range from supply pick-up, to help with set-up or clean-up of events, to participation on the fundraising committee. Interested parents and family members are encouraged to contact the school office to learn more about getting involved at school.
The annual Gateway Montessori School Spring FUNdraiser & Silent Auction is planned by the Parent Guild with the Head of School, with invitations to Parents, Staff & Alumni.
Funds are used for classroom & playground materials, and for school events & field trips.
